My services include:
Plans, Specifications, and Estimates, or PS&E as we call it. If you need to build street improvements, you'll need a PS&E to submit to the City or County for review and approval. This submittal also becomes the basis for any contracts you advertise to build those improvements.

My expertise / licensing doesn't include:
Land Surveying - you need a Professional Land Surveyor for that. I do collect my own design data based on a topographic map provided by your surveyor.
Archaeological / Cultural Resource Services - but I do have freinds that do this type of work. One is Garth Baldwin of Drayton Archaeological Research.
Plans, Specifications, and Estimates
Quantity Sheets, Cross Sections, Erosion Control, Grading, Drainage, Paving, Sidewalk Details, Utilities, Traffic Control, and many more possibilities.
Traffic Analysis, including old-school traffic counts or the use of automatic counters as appropriate, and recommended solutions to help you get an Access Connection Permit or other plan approved.
Drainage & Streambank Protection Design
Plus, assistance in determining when a Structural Engineer or other specialist is needed. I'm not an expert in everything, and won't pretend to be.
Environmental Assessments / Impact Statements for SEPA (State Environmental Policy Act) and NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act). This work includes Categorically Excluded projects that may need various documents to show there are no significant impacts.
Context Sensitive Solutions - an approach to problem-solving that looks at the context around a problem, with equal consideration of the owner's needs, other stakeholders, users and customers, environmental issues, and decision / alternatives-analysis tools.
Permits, such as the JARPA (Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application) and design-assistance for related streambank protection measures, BMP's (Best Management Practices) for Stormwater, and much more.

I've done consulting work on a wide range of jobs, now. These have included:
L&I Permit / Testing for a Taco Truck, including re-drafting plans to show upgraded systems such as a fire-suppression system and sink upgrades.
Pavement Condition Report for a residential development to assure it could support a fire truck and other design vehicles. This job also included review of drafting done by the client for his development submittals.
PS&E for a minor sub-division, including adjustments to plans per city comments (if I need to fix problems with my designs, you don't pay extra).
JARPA and Hydraulic Project Approval assistance on a minor streambank protection project. And when the recent storms caused the river to surge, the design worked to protect a family-member's property.
