This has been my mantra since the start.  My services aren't cheap, but there's no reason that they have to expensive, either.  You get the benefits of someone who has years of public-sector experience and who doesn't have lots of overhead to cover.

Our Business

JAMeCK Engineering started in 2005, and has slowly grown a few contracts at a time.  I do this part-time, so am selective at which clients I'll accept, and make sure that you are comfortable with off-hours contact until such time that I start doing this full-time.  We're located in the Tanglewilde area of Olympia / Thurston County.

Who We Are

JAMeCK stands for John, Andrew, Michaelann / Megan, a middle initial, Chris, and Katherine - it's a family business!  My wife Michaelann is a great help, even if she's not an engineer.  I hope to make the business something my sons and daughters can take part in, even if only to provide part-time help while they explore their own carreers.

I'm the principal engineer, a licensed Professional Engineer, with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from Saint Martin's College (now Saint Martin's University).  I do consulting part-time, and work in the public sector full-time - as well as do things with my children.  The children help every now and then to get cross-section data, count traffic, or other simple tasks.  When necessary, I network with other professionals who are familiar with CAD, surveying, archaeology, biology, or other specialties.
